Privacy policy — Skip Facebook Ads

Skip Facebook Ads is a Chrome extension that hides sponsored Facebook posts in your browser. It does not have a backend and does not send browsing data to a remote server.

Data stored on your device

The extension uses Chrome’s storage API only to save whether the hide toggle is on or off. That value stays on your device (synced with your Chrome profile if you use Chrome sync). It is not a feed of pages you visit.

Data we do not collect

• We do not collect your Facebook posts, cookies, or account.
• We do not send page content, names, or ads you see to any server.
• We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or remote code.

Permissions

Host access to facebook.com, web.facebook.com, and m.facebook.com is required so the content script can hide sponsored units on those pages. The storage permission is required for the on-device enable toggle.
